Hydro AI (“the app,” “we,” “us”) helps you track your hydration by taking a photo of a drink and estimating its volume. We built the app to collect as little as possible. This policy explains exactly what we handle and why.
The full-resolution photo you take is sent to our secure analysis service only to estimate the drink, and is discarded immediately — it is never saved on our servers. Only a small thumbnail generated on your device, plus the resulting estimate, is stored in your account.
Drink estimates are produced by Anthropic’s Claude Vision model, called from our own secure backend. The image is used solely to generate your estimate and is not used to train any model.
Your account data is stored using Supabase (Postgres, Auth, and Storage). Access is restricted by row-level security so you can only read and write your own data.
You are in control of your data at any time from within the app:
If you can’t access the app, email us at strideaicoach@gmail.com and we will delete your account on request.
You can download a copy of your data at any time from Profile → Data & account → Export my data. It produces a portable file containing your profile and full log history.
Hydro AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
